 Стандарт EPUB: • Открытый формат, установленный для электронных книг IDPF (International Digital Publishing Forum - международный форум цифровой публикации). Формат основан на XHTML и XML. Текущие характеристики находятся на веб-сайте idpf. Adobe для этого формата имеет DRM. Особенности: • Полная поддержка UTF-16. • Полная поддержка спецификации EPUB 2. • Несколько режимов просмотра: Просмотр книги, Просмотр кода и Предварительный просмотр (Book View, Code View, Preview View). • WYSIWYG (что видишь, то и имеешь) редактирование в режиме Посмотр книги. • Полный контроль над синтаксисом кода при непосредственным редактированием кода EPUB. • Генератор Содержания с поддержкой многоуровневых заголовков. • Редактор метаданных с полной поддержкой всех возможных элементов метаданных (более 200) с полным описанием каждого. • Пользовательский интерфейс переведен на многие языки. • Проверка орфографии со словарями по умолчанию и настраиваемых пользователем. • Полная поддержка "Найти и заменить" регулярных выражений (PCRE). • Поддержка импорта EPUB и HTML файлов, изображений и таблиц стилей. • Документы могут быть проверены на соответствие EPUB интегрированной проверкой FlightCrew EPUB. • Встроенный HTML Tidy: все импортированные файлы имеют исправленные форматы, и ваше редактирование может быть дополнительно очищено. Sigil - is an ePub ebook editor with support for both WYSIWYG word processor style and direct code editing. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free. Sigil provides advanced automatic conversion features for all imported documents to the Unicode text encoding. Sigil also offers a metadata editor with extended support for all types of metadata entries (over 200) that enable you to insert a full description for each.
